Locked Out of my Equinox Back Hatch!!
This release switch was the perfect fit for my 08 Equinox. Once I was able to open the hatch from the inside I was able to take the hatch apart and put this switch in. Works just fine.

2012 Buick Regal-Trunk Release Now Works
2012 Buick Regal Trunk release switch was not working when pressed. The remote trunk worked. I ordered the replacement part and prepared for a leisurely Sunday afternoon project. It was! You have to take off the inside liner of the trunk lid so you can gain access to four nuts that hold the Buick logo in place. Make sure you have a removal tool for removing the pesky trim panel clips. Remove the wire plug from the connector on the back of the logo. Remove the nuts with a socket extension and gently pry the logo off. Take note of the placement of the switch in the back of the logo. Replace the trunk lid release switch. Reverse the above steps. I am 72 years old with a bunch of aches and pains so it took twice as long as you should. About an hour. Cold beer tasted extra good when the new switch worked!!
