Warranty

Any Recon products that are found to be defective in either material or craftsmanship will be covered under warranty as stated below. Lighting products that require electrical 12-volt power during operation are covered for a period of 90 days following the original purchase date. If any Recon product proves to be defective within the warranty period, Recon will, at its discretion, either repair or replace it with the same or similar product at no cost to you.

This warranty does not cover any damage caused by improper installation, road hazard, accident, racing, misuse, alteration or normal wear and tear. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages unless otherwise provided by law. All applicable implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty, unless otherwise provided by law.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Looks Good When It Worked

So to start with the good, the folks at CARiD are really attentive and helpful. They worked hard on resolving my issue with my part. Now for the bad, got my headlights real quick installed looked awesome! However less than a few days in use the LED lights on the left headlight went dead, projector still worked and signal lights worked. But all the LED and yellow run lights failed. For a part that cost as much as these did this defect should not even exist, it doesn't give me great confidence in this products reliability and quality. Second it should be made very clear to the buyer that the LED lights are not DRL's. So do not expect them to come on when your driving lights kicked in. Called Recon and the dude with the enthusiasm of an armodillo, told me to splice the wire from the LED to the ignition power wire. Really for almost $1000.00 asking price and you couldn't think it would be an even more awesome selling product if you did that feature right off the bat, straight up 'BSC'!!! So I'm now waiting on the next pair and hoping they last longer this go around, if I get another failure I have no interest with dealing with the long wait for an 1 week process to get an RMA processed and return labels. So sad!
