2013 Nissan Sentra Tires

The Nissan Sentra is a compact family sedan which has become one of the reference points in its market segment. A well-designed cabin, generous cargo area, excellent fuel efficiency, and proverbial Japanese reliability are some of the arrows in its quiver. A good set of tires is essential to maintaining these characteristics as well as improving handling, performance, steering responsiveness, and braking efficiency. Nowadays, the rubber industry implements high-quality standards for creating tires that can satisfy any driving needs and perform well in any road conditions. The combination of chemistry, physics, and engineering have allowed the creation of special compounds, while modern manufacturing techniques result in the production of a wide range of quality products.

All-season season types are the most popular choice among owners of family-oriented compact cars, as they provide good performance in every season. However, if you live in areas where winters are especially tough or summers particularly hot, consider opting to more specialized products designed for extreme weather conditions. Winter tires ensure adequate grip even in deep snow or sheer ice thanks to large tread blocks with sipes and deep grooves. Summer models, on the contrary, have shallow grooves just sketched to contrast aquaplaning and ensure maximum possible traction for better performance.

Fantastic Winter Tire, Average For Other Seasons
I bought a pair of these for my car just before winter of 2021. They've been on for a couple thousand miles now and honestly for the price these are probably the best winter tires you can get. My car came with a terrible feature from the factory where if it senses any wheelslip it will cut all power to the wheels. It ends up being a particular problem when going uphill. Anyway, this past season I hadnt experienced nearly any uphill slips which is a pretty good testament to this tire's grip in the snow and ice. Now its spring and for the few warm and dry days there have been, these tires grip well enough. They certainly aren't a track tire and can't take much lateral load before giving out, but hey it's cheap- what do you expect. One minor mishap I had right before winter hit was that I hit a pothole doing 15-20mph and blew out the sidewall, rendering the tire useless. I'm not sure if it was because of the tire or the weather or the pot hole, but I did have to shell out another ~$100 for a new one. Even with that mishap, I'll still probably get these in the future if I need a winter tire.
