Hi, the AD or AE is part of the part number. For an alternator for a 2010 Chrysler 300, we show two fitments: 4896803AC fits vehicles with the 2.7L engine and a 140 amp alternator; 4896805AE fits vehicles with a 2.7L, 3.5L, or 5.7L engine and a 160 amp alternator.
