2011 Scion tC Black & Smoked Tail Lights

It looks excellent when installed, but I had a few problems getting it there. Firstly, it doesn’t come with any instructions and I couldn’t find any online, so actually finding out how to install it was a trial and error mess. Here’s what you need to install it: a door pane remover, a 10mm ratchet, a Phillips screwdriver, and patience. Remove the entire trunk panel by using the panel puller on the 10 or so plastic bolts holding it in place. Remove every bold underneath the panel, and unclip the wiring harness from the old light. Remove the exterior panel, and pull out the old light. Push the new one into place and connect it, then put all the bolts back and snap the panel back into place. That said, maybe mine was just defective, but the wiring connection was too small on mine and cracked in the process of connecting. It stayed connected and still works, so I left it like that, but it’s still not great that it did.
