These projector headlights will benefit you and your car or truck in 2 ways. First you get superior illumination, which enables better vision in darkness and inclement weather, for safer driving. This is because the bulb in a projector headlight is positioned in front of an elliptical-shaped reflector. Where a conventional parabolic type reflector reflects light outward in a dispersed pattern, the elliptical reflector reflects the light toward a single focal point in front of the bulb. Projector headlights produce a sharper, more focused beam of light with less scatter loss. The second benefit is made possible because of the projector headlight’s smaller size in comparison to a conventional headlight. Without the need for a large parabolic reflector, the stylists at Spyder have used the increased space within the headlight housing to work their styling magic and create the one-of-a-kind, custom designed projector headlight that you see on this page. Just by replacing your old, dim headlights you’ll gain a safer, more pleasurable driving experience, and give your vehicle an appearance makeover that will result in head turning looks.

Every Spyder headlight undergoes a rigorous testing and quality control process before it leaves the factory. All wiring is tested to make sure the light is completely functional, and the housing is sealed with high quality silicone to ensure that no moisture can become trapped inside. Spyder lights are approved by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and ISO-9000 and ISO-9002 certified. They meet all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and are compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108. Spyder headlights are designed to exactly replace your factory lights, and most lights come with detailed instructions to guide you through the installation.

These impeccably durable Spyder lights provide outstanding performance under the most extreme temperatures ranging from -40C - +80C as well as have superior voltage protection over and under 12.8V to prevent damage caused by overloading or short circuit.

Good Customer Support, Sub-par Product
Spyder® HD-JH-MAZDA310-AM-BK - Black Factory Style Projector Headlights
I bought these last October and they showed up with some Sharpie scribbled on the inside of the headlight assembly. CARiD pulled through and sent me a replacement that was in proper condition, which I really appreciated. The new ones they sent didn't have the amber corner for the turn signals - it was just clear - which I thought was weird, but I didn't want to ask for a second replacement. I've been using them since and they look great, but just this past week I noticed that the outside of the headlights are peeling off. It looks like there's a plastic coating on the shell around the outside of the assembly that is peeling off and now the headlights don't look clear anymore. I didn't change anything, normal car washes every other week by hand with standard soap. Pretty disappointing that they didn't even last a full year! If they fogged up like stock headlights I could at least try to buff it out, but this is different. Wouldn't recommend Spyder Auto headlights after this.

They look great, don't get me wrong, but there were some issues. First of all, when they arrived, the driver's side light had 2 of the mounting tabs busted off and laying in the bottom of the box. Incidently, this didn't end up mattering because when I installed it, something the way the light was made was way off, and the tabs that were broken off did not reach the mounting holes required to use them, so I guess no harm no foul for them being broken. Second, the driver's side lens had had a bunch of debris stuck to the inside of it, which was a real chore trying to clean out. Third, the plastic that the mounting tabs and rear structure of the lights is very very cheap and not good quality at all. One of the mounting points for the passenger's side light broke apart when I started threading the bolt in (no I didn't overtighten it, it happened almost immediately). These are marketed as Spyder brand lights, however I can't find the Spyder name or logo anywhere on the packaging or lights themselves. I have a set of Spyder lights for my truck, and trust me, the build quality is a lot better, they came with brand name paperwork and markings on the lights, and the plastic they were made out of wasn't the sort of thing you'd find on a dollar store toy. What I did find on these lights were a lot of Chinese words and random numbers. So my unprofessional assessment is that the lights I got are not Spyder brand, but rather a cheap knock-off, which is a shame because I paid Spyder brand money. All and all none of this was a big deal, and I didn't feel like going the the hassle of returns and finding another set. Future buyers beware.

Mine fit perfectly and look very good. Install requires dropping the bumper by undoing two 10mm bolts where the fender and the bumper meet under the fender liner, unscrewing a bolt on the fender attatched to the black plastic bracket that holds the bumper in place, and by undoing clips under the hood. Youll ALSO need to unscrew two phillips bolts holding the front bracket in place, mine were very soft and stripped from a hand screwdriver so I ripped off the rubber outer layer and used vice grips. There are a few more 10mm screws holding the headlight units themselves in place, one of which is tucked away towards the front of the car. I have experience with installations like this and so it was understood by me, but I can see where it would be difficult for a less experienced person

The fit and finish of this product was excellent. The headlights look great installed. However I do not like the shape of the low beam light pattern on the road, but the high beam pattern is good. And both turn signal bulbs (new) overheated and melted the back end of reflectors. I will have to replace these headlights.

Everything Was Good Except One Thing..
Spyder® - Black Projector Headlights
The low beams were H1 and NOT H11 like they’re supposed to be so I wasn’t able to put my H11 LED lights I previously had on my other headlight housing. Not sure why the change but other than that everything else was good.

Spyder Does It Again!
Spyder® - Black Projector Headlights
I bought these for my 2018 LS Impala after upgrading my rear lights. Super stoked! After my local Audio shop did the install I never looked in my box at delivery! WHOA! My ride looked mean as Hell. More stealth and less bulky than stock. Strolled out for a gas run and My garage looked like a Rave show Crystal white beams of light. Yes Spyder lights are Killer. I'm sold!

Got these installed in Jan 2022, the lights are very bright at night and day. Cannot wait to get the tail light now! Would recommend as an upgrade.
