Product Details

Dodge Viper 2005, D1S HID Bulbs by Diode Dynamics®. Socket: D1S. Quantity: 2 Pieces. Lumens: 3200 lm. Voltage: 9-16V. Operational Temperature: -40C to 85C (-40F to 185F). Connector Type: OEM Size Plug and Play. OEM Replacement. If your vehicle is equipped with HID, these are a perfect direct replacement. Since HID bulbs lose brightness after just a few months of use, these will provide a nice increase in output. You can also improve your vehicle's styling with a cooler color temperature. Quality. There are all kinds of HID bulbs on the market, but these are the best combination of quality, without a high price tag. Manufactured in a fully automated environment by CNLight, they are known as HB series, with high output, and DOT/SAE and ECE compliance in arc position and size. Using German quartz and American salts, no expense is spared in their construction. This leads to long, reliable life, and excellent color.

Color-If you're looking for green or purple lights, you'll have to go somewhere else. These white colors will provide more visible light on the road, and won't cause distraction.
3000K is Diode Dynamics lowest temperature, and has a pure yellow output, which is great for use in fog lights.
4300K is a natural white output, as seen on vehicles with factory HIDs. It will not have any blue tint to its color, and might appear slightly warm.
5000K is a pure white output, without any warm hint, and no tint of blue either.
6000K is Diode Dynamics most popular color, which produces an ice white color. It matches best with most LEDs.
8000K is Diode Dynamics highest temperature, which produces an ice blue color. This is not a strong blue color though- it is still primarily white, meaning there will be no decrease in light output.

If your car uses high-intensity discharge or HID BULBS, you know that they offer a significantly more powerful light output than halogen light bulbs. They also manage to produce these light levels using significantly less power than traditional lights. They offer replacement bulbs for OEM HID setups in a wide array of sizes, so you can easily find bulbs that will fit your vehicle. If you want to change your current light setup to HID, you can also check out Diode Dynamics conversion kits to easily modify your existing headlights to fit Diode Dynamics long-lasting and powerful HID bulbs. OEM HIDs come in D series base sizes, including D1S, D1R, D2S, D2R, D3S, D4S, and the newly-introduced D5 and D6. The D1, D3, and D5 sizes come with built-in ignitors on the base, making them more costly than the simple D2 and D4 bulbs. You'll find OEM HID setups on many premium trims, from makes such as Infiniti, FORD, CADILLAC, DODGE, CHEVY, ACURA, JEEP, NISSAN, LEXUS, GMC, HONDA, HYUNDAI, and more. Not sure what bulb size you need for your factory-installed HID setup? Head to Diode Dynamics homepage, and use Diode Dynamics vehicle finder to find the exact bulbs for your vehicle! All bulbs listed here are built with sturdy capsules with highly repeatable color output (no mismatching between sides), and will work with any standard ballast, including the more picky Panasonic ballasts found in Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. The bulb bases are single-piece construction, to avoid the common failure on cheaper bulbs, caused when the base begins separating over time.
