GMC CK Pickup 1976, Nylon Oil Pump Shaft Guide by Melling®. Several Melling oil pump applications require the use of an oil pump shaft guide. Melling provides high quality shaft guides for specific pump applications. An oil pump shaft guide is necessary to connect the oil pump drive shaft to the intermediate drive shaft. Melling recommends installing a new oil pump shaft guide when it is needed.
