Rubber Floor Mats & Liners

If you want to shield your factory carpet from dirt, spills, mud, ice, snow, and road salt, rubber and vinyl floor mats and liners will provide the protection you need. Rubber and vinyl are virtually impermeable, so unless you cut a hole in them, nothing’s getting through to the carpet below. Now some say that rubber or vinyl mats aren’t as attractive as carpet, but we don’t agree. We think these mats have a rugged look, one that is especially perfect for Jeeps, trucks, SUVs and crossovers, and many are available with custom designs and logos, for protection with a personal touch.

We offer both custom fit floor mats and liners, and universal floor mats. For the most thorough coverage and maximum protection, custom fit mats or liners are your best option. Our manufacturers use sophisticated equipment to measure the exact dimensions of the floorpan on each specific vehicle, to create products that hug every contour of the floor and provide the best protection for your carpet. The floor area they cover may not be as extensive, but universal mats are less expensive, and some are designed so they can be trimmed to fit, so you get more of a custom installation.

Both custom fit and universal floor mats have ridges and channels to collect debris and liquid, provide traction for your feet, and help keep your boots or shoes above the muck. However, because floor mats lay flat, the channels within are limited in how much liquid they can hold. If you anticipate a lot of liquid from melting snow or spilled extra-large sodas we recommend our custom fit floor liners. Floor liners have a raised perimeter that extends coverage up the sides of the footwell. They act as shallow pans to contain liquids and prevent them from spilling over onto your carpet. We offer both smooth bottomed floor liners and liners with ridges, channels, or heavy-duty treads, for sure-footed traction and to help keep your shoes and pant legs clean.

Regardless of how well floor mats or liners are designed, they’re useless if they don’t stay in place. Mats that slide around can’t provide effective protection, and having to continually reposition them will quickly become tiresome. More importantly, a mat that can slide and bunch up under the brake and accelerator pedal can be dangerous. But you won’t have to worry about any movement with our mats and liners. Custom fit mats and liners naturally stay in place better because they conform to the floor, and because they are created for specific vehicles, most are designed to use the factory mat anchoring system, if the vehicle is so equipped. Universal mats and some custom fit mats usually have “nibbed” backing to grip the carpet and prevent slippage.
