Mazda Trunks & Tailgates

    About Mazda Trunks

Mazda vehicles are in their own special class. The auto manufacturer's always leading the pack with their interior/exterior design elements, and engines: most notably the lightweight high-horsepower “Wankel” rotary engine that they've become ever-popular for (other manufacturers including GM tried to make, but failed to perfect this design.) Trunk lids and tailgates are both parts that require replacement occasionally on any vehicle. You don't have to go to your OEM dealership to purchase a brand new trunk or tailgate for your vehicle – Replace is an OE brand manufacturer that makes both for your cherished Mazda.

You'll find a selection of trunk deck lids for your Mazda here, at prices that the dealership cannot even touch. Replace uses the same sheet metal and design specifications to manufacture a trunk that's absolutely a mirror-image of your original trunk. They also make tailgates for newer and older B-Series pickups that are every bit as durable as your old one. All Replace trunks and tailgates are made with 1mm or thicker sheet metal, using patented fabrication processes such as “cold rolling” and state-of-the-art CAD/CAM tooling to ensure a perfect finished product every time. All parts will arrive at your door with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.

    2004 Mazda 6

I purchased two of these lift supports for my 2005 Mazda6 S Hatchback. There was an issue with the distributor, so I initially only received one of the pair, but CARiD quickly resolved the issue and I received the missing part a day later. Great service. They replaced the factory Stabilus units, one of which had started leaking. The difference was immediate; the trunk had never extended that far up, and the lifts push the trunk once it is open halfway. I bought the car used, and I always had to lift and push the trunk (which is quite heavy) to keep it open. The new lifts make the world of a difference. Highly recommend. Installation was a breeze; I was able to do it myself quite easily, but having someone there to help prop the trunk open would be helpful, especially if the old clips are rusted and difficult to remove.
