Grille guards belong to those few accessories intended to add instant front-end safety and give outstanding looks to light trucks and SUVs. When properly installed, the grille guard provides a tough shield against everyday hazards, including rocks and whatever else obstacles, not to mention other vehicles on the road!
A winch can be an extremely useful tool while exploring off-road trails far from civilization, rescuing another vehicle while cruising on the beach, or landscaping in your own back yard. All winches are given a pull rating – which determines the amount of weight that the unit can safely pull. A generally accepted formula is to choose a winch that is rated for at least 1.5 times the weight you will need to pull.
Properly designed, properly built and properly mounted grille guards offer very good protection for a vehicle front. The protective value of small chrome bars protruding under the bumper is debatable, but there is no denying that they look good and that they provide an excellent mount for auxiliary lights.

"This grille looks Amazing once installed, but thats once its installed. After much frustration twisted up under my truck attempting to bolt the one plate to the frame, I realized they forgot to drill a hole in it! (I'm sure because there were 2 plates and everything was the same except for this one missing hole.) Luckily I had a steel drill bit handy, but come on. Once that was over, I was trying to bolt it all together and turns out there were missing bolts but about a dozen wrong sized ones thrown in (couple allen wrenches too that were not mentioned anywhere in the instructions). So I had to once again use my own supplies to get the job done. So in short, looks great once installed and is a quality piece. "

"I thought that this not only added a great look to my truck but also adds a bit of protection. I had to drill 2 holes through my frame because the brackets were off but other than that its a walk in the park."

"I ordered this for a 2010 Chevy Colorado Z71 4x4, and it looks great on the car. Unfortunately, two sets of instructions were sent with it, and neither were accurate. Pretty much had to fudge the installation to get it to fit."
