Running boards allow for a wider stepping surface as well as offer higher weight capacity than most nerf bars. Also, when picking out a set of running boards, you can choose from a variety of designs, textures, and other options to achieve the perfect style you've been striving for.
The first choice is between the bar/step type and the true running boards depends on the way you use the vehicle, and on your personal preferences. However, not all choices are that clear, and there is an array of both universal and custom fit running boards to choose from. Just be prepared, and realize that only high quality running boards and side bars will look good after a couple of years of use.

" I was very happy with the purchase. They shipped quickly and e-mailed me with updates. The Tuff bars are exactly the way they advertised and I received them in perfect shape. I will definitely purchase other items from them. "

"Steps arrived as promised. All parts included and packaged efficiently. Step tubes were considerably lighter gauge than I would have expected. Now to the subject of the mounting brackets! There is no where near enough (photo) detail to clearly determine which bracket goes where. I managed to install the front bracket as the rear and of course the rear on the front. New something was wrong as the step was lower at the front. After swapping brackets everything fit well. The instructions are certainly the weak point here. Hopefully a few words included on bracket identification would be greatly appreciated. Finished installation looks great."
