The Jeep Compass slots between the Renegade and Cherokee in the automaker’s compact SUV lineup. While being well-mannered and right-sized for city use, it is an easy choice for those who want a small SUV that is strong on off-roading. Owners can also take advantage of its functional, spacious interior with a wide array of modern tech features. Should your Jeep beg for upgrades, whether for improving performance, interior comfort & protection, or styling, we’ve got you covered with the right 2022 Jeep Compass accessories and parts at affordable prices.
This year’s SUV received a mid-cycle refresh that brought exterior and interior updates along with a new trim level. The 2022 Compass sports a more pronounced front fascia with a bigger lower grille, smaller slots on the upper grille, and more compact headlights. The tail lights got a makeover, too. Of greater import are changes on the inside. Gone is the outgoing model’s plastic-heavy swollen dashboard, giving way to a cleaner and more modern horizontal design with stitched upholstery. An 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system remains standard, but the Compass now uses its latest version and offers an option of a 10.1-inch touchscreen.
The new mid-level Latitude Lux model, as its name suggests, luxes things up a bit compared to the lower end of the lineup. It upgrades the Compass with leather upholstery, heated front seats, a bigger touchscreen option, standard AWD, and more. No changes are made to the powertrain, which means the 2022 sport ute carries over with the sole 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated I4 teamed with a 6- or 9-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive. With 177 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque, it is considered by many to be slow. The 4xe plug-in-hybrid, which is currently in the works, is expected to be a bit more powerful.
The Trailhawk continues as the off-roader’s choice of the lineup and the model that separates the Compass from other small crossover SUVs on the market. It comes upgraded with parts and accessories that make it ready for wilderness adventures, including a lift kit, all-terrain rubber, and skid plates, while adding cool aids like a crawl mode, which simulates a low drive ratio, and a Rock mode, which locks the gearbox in first gear and sends power to the tires that have traction. Looking to get more capability and more character? Regardless of what customization ideas you have, here you’ll find all 2022 Jeep Compass parts and accessories to bring them to life.
