Despite the fact that the non-luxury full-size sedan market share continues to shrink year after year, the Korean automaker refuses to discontinue the Kia Cadenza model. In fact, for 2020, it received a minor redesign both inside and outside. The base Premium trim level was dropped leaving potential customers only two higher-end versions to choose from. The most prominent changes to the exterior were made to the front and rear potions of the vehicle. A signature concave grille received wider vertical slats with chrome trim elements. All-LED headlights became narrower, sleeker and received redesigned LED daytime running lights that embrace the grille from both sides underlining its shape. A new metallic trim piece adorns the whole width of the front bumper leaving no room for quad LED fog lights of the previous version. This portion of the exterior can be easily modified and upgraded by the owner of the car using products from our vast catalog of 2020 Kia Cadenza accessories and parts.
The rear end of the vehicle received few subtle changes. For starters, the tail lights were redesigned. Now, a series of LED strips connect both sides across the trunk lid seemingly forming one large lightbar. Just like at the front, the rear side is underlined with a new chrome trim piece. The rear bumper now features two fake exhaust ports while the real exhaust tips remain hidden under the bumper. Two new designs of 18- and 19-inch wheels are available. Inside, the entire dashboard was redesigned to accommodate a new 12-inch touchscreen. Narrower air vents had to migrate from its sides to the upper portion of the center console which was also updated. Some parts of a climate control system changed location to give room for a new wireless charging pad and an additional USB port for powering electronic devices and accessories. Now, previously optional safety and driver-assist features became standard.
The mechanical side of the updated version of the Kia Cadenza remains virtually unchanged. As before, the vehicle is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.3L V6 engine capable of making 290 hp that sends power to the front wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. To try and reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, Korean engineers reinforced the cross members of the rear sub-frame and updated the valves of the shock absorbers. Larger rear dampers were introduced to make rides over rough roads much smoother. For those who would like to add a few personal touches to the car or even make some major modifications to its construction, we can offer a wide range of premium 2020 Kia Cadenza parts and accessories by some of the most reputable brands on the market.
