Jaguar’s first SUV, the F-Pace enters the 2019 model year bringing the high-performance SVR version to the table. The new model employs a supercharged 5.0 L V8 rated at 550 hp, similar to the engine used by the F-Type SVR. The engine works together with an 8-speed automatic and AWD. The powerplant enables the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR to accelerate to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and reach 176 mph. To control such a huge power, the vehicle employs large 15.5” brake rotors both in the front and in the rear. The wheels are large as well – 21” and 22” diameters are available. To improve handling, the rear wheels are about 1” wider than the front ones. The 2019 F-Pace SVR has a range of distinctive styling features. On the outside, it incorporates additional air vents, new bumpers, larger openings, 4 exhaust pipes, rear spoiler, bigger wheel arches, and additional lower bodywork. As for the interior, the model offers bucket-style seats featuring large bolsters on the sides and headrest embroidery, aluminum shift paddles on the steering wheel, and lever-style gear shifter instead of a rotary gear selector in regular versions.

Apart from the newly unveiled SVR, the 2019 F-Pace offers six trim grades and four engine offerings, allowing buyers to get the right version for their needs. The base one is a 2.0 L turbo I4 making 247 hp and its more potent version good for 296 hp is available. The range also includes a turbocharged 2.0 L diesel I4 rated at 180 hp and a supercharged 3.0 L V6 that delivers 380 hp. All engines are teamed with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. Those powered by gasoline got a new particulate filter to reduce emissions. Some models received a larger fuel tank this year.

The base variant of the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace offers LED DRLs, panoramic sunroof, 18” wheels, keyless ignition, power liftgate, and automatic wipers. Inside, there are power-operated front seats, faux leather upholstery, and automatic climate control. The options list includes the new slimline seats and three additional packages. Also optional is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, available via the Smartphone Package. Jaguar's Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen becomes standard across the board for 2019, as are parking sensors, lane keep assist, rearview camera, and HD radio. The F-Pace also delivers excellent utility offering class-leading cargo space of 33.5 cu. ft. and can tow nearly 5,300 lb, which is also one of the finest figures in the class. On the safety front, there are upgrades to the adaptive cruise control and emergency braking. The former benefits from steering assist and stop&go features, while the latter operates at speeds between 6 and 100 mph to automatically stop the vehicle if it does not receive the driver's response to the alerts on forward collision detection.
