For the 2019 model year, the 8-Series is offered in three body styles: a convertible, coupe, and surely, gran coupe. Depending on the trim, the car can be powered by one of three engines. These include: a 3.0 L inline-six, a twin-turbocharged 4.4 L V8, and a twin-turbo 6.6 L V12. The turbocharged 3.0 L inline-six engine is standard and powers the 840i. 850i models boast a twin-turbocharged 4.4 L V8 good for 523 HP and coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox with a wider gear ratio. The new 8-Series can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds reaching the top speed of 155 mph. M860i versions are motivated by a twin-turbo 6.6 L V12.
