Complete Front Axle Assembly by Zumbrota Drivetrain®. Complete Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to the highest quality standards of precision and reliability. Each assembly is inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal components are inspected and tested; including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. Bearings & seals get replaced. Gears are fully inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque using inch pound measurements for precise setup and longevity. Correct gear backlash is set to ensure proper gear lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected to ensure OEM standards of straightness. An exclusive hydro-blast rinse & sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, sets the standard for complete axle assembly remanufacturing. All assemblies include a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty.

Warranty

Zumbrota Drivetrain offers the following warranties for its products:

Standard 2-year/unlimited mileage warranty that applies to all 3/4 ton and lighter applications
No-fault 3-year warranty that is available as an optional upgrade to the standard warranty
The 1-year/18,000 mileage limited warranty coverage that includes commercial, farm vehicles, motorhomes and rental vehicle applications not eligible on the no-fault or standard warranty

If any remanufactured manual transmission, transfer case or differential is found to be defective and covered under one of the abovementioned warranties, Zumbrota Drivetrain will replace or repair it.

Limitations And Exclusions:

Zumbrota Drivetrain warranties do not cover vehicles that have been altered or modified in any way from how the vehicle was originally equipped
Standard and Limited Warranties do not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation, tamper, abuse, low fluid level, incorrect fluid, unreasonable use, mistreatment, neglect, negligence, or accidental breakage
Standard and No-Fault Warranties do not extend to commercial, farm vehicles, motorhomes, and rental vehicle applications
No-Fault warranty applies only to products sold, installed, and/or operated in the 48 contiguous states of the United States. If the customer’s vehicle fails or has been relocated out of the 48 contiguous states of the United States the warranty is void
Zumbrota Drivetrain will not be liable for death or injury to a person or damage to property; or any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of its products. Such damages include, but are not limited to damage to the transmission, engine components or other associated parts, or any customer claims of damages

Customer/Installer Responsibilities:

Zumbrota Drivetrain’s installation guidelines must be strictly followed. Failure to follow proper installation procedures will void the warranty. Proper maintenance as per the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines must be followed.

General:

These warranties are between the original purchaser and Zumbrota Drivetrain and are not transferable. If Zumbrota Drivetrain should elect to replace your unit, the replacement unit shall be considered to be a repair and does not extend the warranty beyond that issued with the original unit. No claims will be honored if any outstanding money, any open cores, or defects or invoices are due to Zumbrota Drivetrain.

Applicable Law And Venue For Legal Action:

These warranties allocate the risks of product failure between Zumbrota Drivetrain and the original owner as authorized by uniform commercial code and the applicable laws. In event of any legal action to enforce the terms of the warranty, the customer agrees that the laws of the state of Minnesota shall govern such action, that the courts of the state of Minnesota shall have exclusive jurisdiction for such actions, and the venue shall be Goodhue County, Minnesota.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More
