Trans-Dapt Engine Cooling

This product is identical in size to some other brands I found at my local auto parts stores. However with those "other" brands, the chrome flaked in less than a year. I'm hoping this one does better. Time will tell. Fit and installation went fine. In my case, with my Chevy V-6 229, I elect to fill-in the pre-cut grove at the bottom of the housing and not use the factory-supplied O-ring. Instead, I use a regular gasket with a very slight amount of sealant for any imperfections, let it dry overnight, and it's always leak-free.
