Traffic Advisor Lights

Roof-mounted light bars, beacon lights, and other emergency and warning lights are designed to warn approaching vehicles of potential hazards and indicate the priority of movement in traffic of a vehicle equipped with such lights. However, in no way they provide other road users with the understanding of the allowed directions. That's why it is always great when an emergency services vehicle is equipped with traffic advisors or directional lights. These lights are a must-have for police cars, fire engines, tow trucks, ambulances and medical transportation vehicles.

Traffic advisors and directional lights can come in handy in a variety of situations. They provide oncoming drivers with specific directions they should go such as to move right, left or even around the vehicle equipped with traffic advisors. Directional traffic advisors come in a variety of types and sizes, ranging from old-school light bars to LED arrows and exotic lights that indicate different words, such as “STOP”, “GO LEFT” or “GO RIGHT”. They catch the attention of approaching drivers and tell them which way they should or are allowed to go.

Just like other types of emergency and warning lights, traffic advisors and directional lights can be installed inside or outside a vehicle. Many manufacturers also strive to combine the best of both worlds, producing traffic advisors and directional lights that can be mounted both inside and outside a vehicle. Commercial and specialty vehicles can also be fitted with built-in light bars or different models for a rear window deck. Most traffic advisors and directional lights are easy to install and remove if necessary, which makes them perfect for temporary usage as well as allows you to utilize them on a regular basis if needed. The majority of them come with installation hardware and detailed instructions to make the installation as easy as pie.

Since traffic advisors and directional lights are always used as an add-on to other types of emergency and warning lights, they should be extremely power efficient in order to prevent a complete battery discharge, while providing superior brightness. To meet these requirements nine out of ten traffic advisors and directional lights available on the marker are equipped with LED bulbs. The latest LED technologies allow manufacturers of emergency and warning lights to produce ultra-bright and power-efficient lights in compact designs. Traffic arrow LED lights and other directional lights that utilize LED technology last longer and use up to 75% less energy than traditional incandescent or halogen lights, while providing an increased light output.

Great Value! Bright Lights
I paid $475 for the one in my other truck. This works just as well. It’s for my Landscape street work truck.
