Modern pickup trucks are the most versatile vehicles on the road. They transport us from home to work and play in style and luxury formerly attainable only in cars, while at the same time hauling all kinds of gear in the bed. Today however, having room for the family has become more important than room for gear, so most modern extended cab and crew cab pickups have smaller beds than their pickup truck forebears. Five and six foot beds are now much more common than eight foot beds, so some cargo like ladders, kayaks and surfboards can be a challenge to carry.
The Xsporter Pro Multi-Height Aluminum Truck Rack is the answer to the oversize gear hauling dilemma. When you need to carry something that can’t be safely stowed within the confines of the bed, the Xsporter Pro can be quickly installed and ready to haul gear up to 450 lbs. The Xsporter Pro is packed with features to make carrying the load easy, safe and secure. The load bars can be raised or lowered to almost any height needed so even long items that overhang the cab can be hauled. The QuickDials allow the uprights to be quickly raised and lowered, and the numbered detents enable you to make the adjustments even on both sides. The adjustable feature allows multi-level loads to be carried, with some items in the bed and others on the load bars above.
The Xsporter rack system is made of reinforced aluminum to resist rust and provide a lifetime of reliable operation and great looks. Only limited assembly is required during the quick and easy installation, and no cutting or drilling of the bed is required. The system also includes 4 lock cylinders to secure the rack once installed. The Xsporter is compatible with most of Thule’s vast selection of accessories, but some accessories may require the optional Xadapt™ adapter. Optional adapters are also available for the newest trucks equipped with bed track systems.
Once the Xsporter Pro is loaded, transporting your gear will be much more enjoyable because of Thule’s Airtrip™ and WindDiffuser technologies. These combine to reduce or eliminate the wind noise common to square load bars. The AirTrip™ technology is integrated into the bar to redirect airflow for superior aerodynamics. The WindDiffuser™ is a raised, textured strip that disturbs the airflow better than a smooth surface, greatly reducing wing noise.
The Xsporter Pro Multi-Height Aluminum Truck Rack comes with everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer’s defects in materials or workmanship.
