Universal Axle Popper II Tool by Steck®. The Axle Popper II is the air tool version of original Axle Popper Fork (PN 71411). Like original fork, the Axle Popper II is tapered on both ends of the wedge along with a 6” shaft to fit into the Technician’s air hammer. The base of the Axle Popper II has been increased by 3/8” to give it additional strength while decreasing potential deflection with the increased power of an air hammer.

The Axle Popper II, the air tool version of popular Axle Popper, breaks loose half shafts from trans axle on front wheel drive vehicles. The Axle Popper II is the air tool version of original Axle Popper Fork (PN 71411). Like original fork, the Axle Popper II is tapered on both ends of the wedge along with a 6" shaft to fit into the Technician’s air hammer. The base of the Axle Popper II has been increased by 3/8" to give it additional strength while decreasing potential deflection with the increased power of an air hammer. Half Shafts are sometimes difficult to break loose with a pry bar. Safer than using a pry bar, the Axle Popper II has a wedge forked end which applies even pressure to both sides of the shaft for sure release of the shaft.

Warranty

Steck warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 90 days. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.
