The drops of water in fog reflect the light back at you when you turn on regular headlights, which doesn’t help much when you’re trying to grope your way through a fog bank. Fog lights are mounted closer to the ground and aimed downward to direct their light at the roadway, reducing the glare created from reflected light. Fog lights illuminate the road directly in front of the vehicle, so you can stay on your side of the yellow line and off the shoulder when driving at a speed appropriate to conditions. Being able to see where you’re going is key to safe driving, making fully functional fog lights important to your vision. LED lights are extremely durable, with an average lifespan of 50,000-75,000 hours, which means they’ll probably outlast the rest of your vehicle. The light they produce is much brighter and cleaner, much more attractive than incandescent light. LEDs are also extremely vibration resistant, an ideal quality for a light mounted on a motor vehicle.

Every Spyder light undergoes a rigorous testing and quality control process before it leaves the factory. All wiring is tested to make sure the light is completely functional, and the housing is sealed with high quality silicone to ensure that no moisture can become trapped inside.
