Sherwood Innovations Inc. was incorporated on February 1st, 1997. Two years later, Sherwood Innovations Inc. purchased the assets of TrimMaster Inc., a major supplier of dash components to auto manufacturers, which provided Sherwood with its own manufacturing capacity. The company moved quickly to expand its line of interior components, and made heavy investments in R&D and testing facilities to develop its proprietary materials and specialized production machinery. Sherwood now operates a production facility with over 50,000 sq ft of floor space and employs over 75 people, a forth of them being technicians and engineers. Sherwood has also partnered with overseas companies to serve the international auto industry with high quality products delivered just in time, aiming to a position as a global tier one supplier of OE trim products to the major auto manufacturers.
