Kevin McKenna
Kevin McKenna was barely a teenager when he made his first trip to the drag races, but he quickly realized that the world's fastest motorsport would eventually become his life's work. A former race official who at one time or another has performed nearly ever duty necessary to conduct an event (including one very forgettable stint as a track announcer), he eventually settled into a career as a motorsports journalist. Throughout his career, McKenna has written for a number of automotive and motorcycle publications including United Racer, Drag Review, Super Stock & Drag Illustrated, Cycle World and Cycle News. For the last 17 years, he has worked as an editor at National DRAGSTER, NHRA's weekly news magazine. McKenna resides in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
