His adventures as a high-performance journalist include piloting IROC cars around the famous ovals of Daytona and Talladega and strapping into the world's fastest open road race record holder vehicle as a journalist/passenger. As a car audio journalist he wrote for Autotronics magazine, where he indulged his passion for great cars and great music. Pettit lives in Southern California.
