Ray T Bohacz
Ray T. Bohacz's interests have always revolved around mechanical apparatus, but his true love is engines; it matters little if it is a Detroit Diesel-powered irrigation pump in the middle of a corn field, or a nitro-burning Hemi. His passion for machinery was first displayed at age four when he released the emergency brake of his parent's 1952 Dodge, with his grandmother in the rear seat. The car rolled backward, avoiding all but a few bushes. Ray graduated high school by age 16 and was the youngest student on his college campus. His first byline appeared in 1995 in Vette magazine and has written for Hot Rod, Popular Hot Rodding, GM High Tech Performance, High Performance Pontiac, Corvette Fever, High Performance Mopar, Hemming's Rods and Performance, Muscle Car Review, Specialty Interest Auto and Mustang Illustrated, among others. He has also created the ACCEL EMIC training manual and course curriculum taught at the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima. Ray is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Society of Materials, and the International Motoring Press.
