Rhino-Rack® - Vortex Ladder Slide Kit

These Easy Glide Ladder Slide Pads and kits are examples of Rhino-Rack’s expertise. They’ve undergone rigorous laboratory testing and been put to the test in Australia’s adverse and extreme outback road conditions.

These pads were designed with a slippery surface that simplifies loading ladders, pipes, wood planks, and similar cargo onto the roof rack cross bars. They mount to the cross bar C-Channel with the included hardware. Sold in pairs, enough for one cross bar, the pads are manufactured from weather-proof materials to ensure they will deliver reliable service for many years. They feature side supports to both guide the load and position it on the cross bars.

The pads also come in kits for 2 bar and 3 bar cross bar systems. 2 bar kits include 4 Easy Glide pads and 3 bar kits include 6. All kits also include a pair of ladder hoops that attach to the C-Channel outside the Easy Glide pads on the front crossmember to keep the ladder on the cross bar. A ladder strap with snap hook bracket is also included with each kit to secure the ladder to the rear cross bar. The 20” ladder strap and snap hook bracket both attach to the channel in the underside of the cross bar.

The Easy Glide Ladder Slide pads and kits are available for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty and Aero cross bars. Each comes with hardware and detailed, illustrated instructions, and is backed by a limited 3-year warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship.
