Pyrometer Gauge Probe Sensor by PPE®. Keeping your diesel engine within proper exhaust gas temperature (EGT) parameters is vitally important to ensuring the proper operation, reliability and longevity of your engine. PPE’s Pyrometer Gauge quickly shows just how hot your exhaust gas really is, allowing you to utilize all those upgrades while keeping your engine safe and out of the danger zone. For an EGT gauge to function properly, a temperature probe must withstand very high temperatures as well as provide an accurate reading. The PPE EGT Probe withstands temperatures in excess of 2,000 degrees F, and gives precise temperature readings. The PPE Probe comes with a 1/8” NPT fitting and integrates directly with their High-Flow Exhaust Manifolds without drilling or tapping.
