Provides Efficient Traction In Winter Road Conditions
The wave- and step-style sipe designs of the tire maximize handling and traction performance on snow and icy road surfaces

Driving your vehicle in cold temperature zones can negatively affect its overall performance. This is especially true for your tires. Cold weather may cause them to be dangerously underinflated. To avoid that, you should change your tires according to the season. Consequently, for the winter months, your car should have winter tires that will provide excellent traction on ice or snow. These have extra rows of sipes, which are small treads within larger tread sections that add extra grip in cold conditions. The rubber these tires are made of is thicker and contains a silica-based compound that maximizes contact with the road. To find the most reliable and durable winter tires for your vehicle, go with us and enjoy comfortable driving in the areas where winter is tough.

Originally established in 1942 as Heung-A Tire, Nexen® Tire has over 60 years of tradition as a respected leader in the tire industry. Acknowledged as Korea's first tire company, they first began car tire production in 1956. Over 30 years later, in 1985, the company was expanded through the construction of a radial tire factory in Yangsan, Korea. Through an alliance six years later with a Japanese company, OHTSU Tire & Rubber, they furthered technological know-how and manufacturing capabilities. In an effort to reflect company's dedication to quality and continued leadership, they changed the company name in 2000 from Woosung Tire to Nexen Tire Corporation. The name Nexen is a combination of two future-oriented words; next and century. That same year also saw Nexen Tire listed on the KOSPI 200 Index future market.

Bought these for $60 each and definitely a steal. Great tires in the rain. Only hydroplaned in puddles.
