Light Emitting Diodes or so-called LED fog lights don't have filaments typical of standard bulbs, and aren't as susceptible to burnout or damage. Moreover, they are very resistant to vibrations. LED fog lights come in six colors and use little power. Halogen fog lights have bulbs that are filled with halogen gas. These lights are very bright and often have a glass lens that will lend to the emission of amber light that increases the light's visibility. Like LED lights, HID fog lights don't have filaments. They use an electrical charge that ignites the xenon gas that is within the light bulb. Compared to the halogen fog lights, HID fog lights produce more light. Moreover, they are less distracting to the oncoming drivers.
