This unit comes equipped with a smaller 1.75 inch diameter alternator pulley, and will require a slightly shorter drive belt for proper belt tension
Not recommended for use above 5,500 RPM engine speed

Warranty

Mechman Alternators offers a 2-year warranty on its products. This limited two-year warranty allows the customer to return his or her Mechman alternator for repair for a full two years after the alternator purchase date. This warranty does not cover other parts or equipment on the vehicle, and does not cover labor for removal or installation of the alternator. This warranty is VOID if the Mechman alternator is modified, physically abused, misused, improperly installed, or is not used in the application for which it was designed. The Mechman two-year warranty is non-transferrable. The customer must include a copy of the original invoice when sending in their alternator in order to receive warranty service.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More

Mechman Alternators® - G Series Alternator with Serpentine Pulley (240A; 12V)

This alternator is a powerhouse! Around 160 Idle, and 280 max! Fit my 2011 Silverado perfectly. Just had to get a 1/2 inch shorter belt, don't forget the 250 amp fuse or circuit breaker, and 1/0 alternator to battery wire upgrade. Also, upgrade the negative wire to alternator housing too.

Mechman Install Great

Mechman Alternators® - G Series Alternator

Installed it with no problems, love it. My only concern Mechman noted this particular alternator uses a 1.75 pulley, I do wish Mechman could’ve told me what type or size of drive belt needed for the 1.75 pulley.
