Product Details

Installer Series Diesel Exhaust Systems by MBRP®. Built from heavy duty aluminized steel Installer Series performance exhaust systems offer a value price without compromising on the quality built into every component. While the seams are a major point of rust through with some budget systems MBRP fully sealed tubing adds years to your system.

Features

  • Mandrel-bent constant-diameter tubing
  • Mellow, authoritative exhaust note
  • Boosts torque and horsepower
  • Improve fuel economy by 1-2 mpg
  • 16 GA aluminized steel construction
  • Direct fit to the OEM hangers
  • All hardware included
  • System warrantied for three years

Fabricated from industry-standard aluminized steel, these systems are rugged and moderately priced, while attention to detail during design and fabrication means they flow better than the stock system they replace. The freer-flowing your exhaust system is, the less energy is needed to push exhaust gases out past the turbocharger and out of the cylinders. Better yet, a low-restriction exhaust leaves less residual exhaust inside the combustion chamber at the end of the scavenge cycle, which allows more air in during the intake stroke. And more air means more power, especially if you've added more fuel with a tuner or some other mod.

MBRP Inc. has been in custom exhaust systems business for over fifteen years. The milestones in the evolution path of the company remain unchanged: superior performance gains, long-lasting product quality and customer responsiveness. First success came with the now famous B&B Eliminator, the bestselling performance snowmobile silencer of all time. Focusing on the right things on its way to success, MBRP inc. is now at the forefront of performance exhaust technology with the breakthrough line of performance diesel exhaust products and new sport line of products for gasoline-powered vehicles. The commitment to the clientele knows no limits at MBRP inc. and is easy to feel – from the lowest SKU/ vehicles supported ratio to variety of exhaust materials to choose from for any budget. Not to mention the easy installation of the products, well-engineered to bolt on over the factory bearings and supported by detailed user manuals and toll-free technical support line to help even the least experienced installer.

Exhaust is good and easy to install only reasoning for giving 3 stars is due to advertised black when ordered when arrived exhaust was not black. Still good exhaust just be careful if you are wanting black it may not arrive black

My Mechanic Says, "That's a Good System!... We Cant Get Systems Like This for Less Than $1000.00."
MBRP® - Installer Series™ Aluminized Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System with Split Side Exit
I bought this system to replace old rusted cracked 'factory' one-sider exhaust from cat-back for PA inspection... I live in rusty PA you see. It came at a good price and quality. Yes, I need new cat connection bolts, and front hanger, but system installed just fine my mechanic and son commented. They also said they cant get a system like this for less than $1000.00 from a "parts store", so I gave them all the info in case they need to order systems for other customers on-line. Love the sound!! ... low rumble, BUT not too obnoxious... I'm sure it will get a bit louder with "age". Hope it does actually. LOL!! System LOOKS GREAT with those polished stainless tips out both side exits too!! Thanks... would buy again, and WILL recommend to any Silverado owner looking to upgrade their exhaust. Thanks... Definitely made my Silverado sound mean. The clamps provided don't quiet seal the exhaust so I have some leaks that I purchased other clamps to take care of. Overall it fits great and installs within an hour, and that was me doing it on the shop floor with jackstands. The clamps needed to hold the exhaust to the converter was rusted so I replaced it and have no issues with it. It has a slight incab drone but not to bad.

I've had this system on my 2014 Sierra now for about 2 months and this is a nice system. At start up she'll bark at you but down the road it's just a mellow low tone. Couldn't be happier.

Turbo Exhaust
MBRP® - Installer Series™ Aluminized Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System with Dual Rear Exit
Best exhaust out there for the Veloster I think. It gas a nice deep tone and pops quie nice of the the turbo. Definitely recommend this exhaust if you want some noise.

Great exhaust. The quality of welds and the metal seems solid. I had to cut a pipe shorter than the directions said but its still a great exhaust. If I can put it in, anybody can. The sound is deep and loud, but not too loud. I love it.

It's hard to get the clamps on. There is lots of noise inside the cab.

Decent For The Money
MBRP® - Installer Series™ Aluminized Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System with Dual Rear Exit
In terms of quality and appearance, it's a good system, it has a nice rumble to it and you can hear it passing by and in the cabin, but the resonator is quite large and as a result the exhaust isn't very loud, if I had to compare it to stock, I'd say maybe 30-40 Percent louder than stock, but not loud by any means, which is good for some, it's quiet at idle and you can hear it on the gas, and in the cabin as well but I was expecting more to be honest. Overall I would recommend for those looking for a modest exhaust with a good note and rumble but nothing more. If you're chasing something loud, consider straight pipes or a catless DP. Great Value for the Price though.
