Billet Main Cap (53950) by Mark Williams Enterprises®. With Grade 8 hardware. As with most rears the stock main caps on a 8-3/4" Mopar case are a weak point. Company now offers a billet steel cap that is pre-bored and threaded. It is easily installed with a simple milling operation. To cure this problem MW makes a replacement cap from billet steel with an increased cross section and heat treated hardware. Requires precision measuring of the cap bore and milling of cap parting line to install. Normally the driver's side cap is the only necessary to replace.
