Little Bit Of Work To Install.

Luverne® - Prowler Max™ Grille Guard

Love the way guard looks. Installing took few hours. Removing the stock tow hooks and covers was the hardest part. The one problem I had the nuts and bolts did not ship with the guard and brackets. I called and they arrived within a week. I installed this at home. A set of ramps is a must. Tried it with out them first. It was much easier with them.

Just Want I Wanted

Luverne® 310713-321512 - Prowler Max™ Polished Grille Guard

The guard is well built, but I am concerned with some of the welds already showing rust. I paid extra for the stainless steel, so time till tell if they develop rust spots. The installation was relatively easy. I only needed a second person to assist with the final mounting of the guard. The sensor installation instructions could be a bit more descriptive, but I got through them.

Pretty Darn Beefy!

Luverne® 320933-320930 - Prowler Max™ Black Grille Guard

I purchased this grill guard because it is well made, heavy duty and one of the few that has guards for the headlights. I live in South Dakota and pheasant country. The dumb birds take out headlights like bats eat mosquitos. I looks great on my black 2016 Ram 1500 crew cab. In addition to the front step it also incorporates 2 heavy duty tow loops. Great product, well made, at a fair price.

One Stout Grill Guard

Luverne® 321523-321520 - Prowler Max™ Black Grille Guard

I hit a deer on my motorcycle in August and suffered a broken leg and some road rash, so call me paranoid about hitting deer in the pickup. I looked at a lot of different grill guards online and decided on the Luverne Prowler Max because of its sturdy construction and ease of installation. I'm fairly confident if I hit a deer with this, then there will be minimal damage to the front of my truck. Installation was easy. I even did it while on crutches!! Just bolt in the two brackets where the tow hooks normally go, then the guard bolts to the brackets with four bolts. I used an engine hoist to lift the guard into place, then bolted it in place. Voila!!I thought about additionally welding the guard to the brackets for good measure, however after an engineer friend of mine looked at it, he thought that was probably over kill. The guard looks good on my F-150 and I've gotten a number of comments about how good and sturdy it looks. Whenever I decide to trade off this truck and upgrade to the next model, removal and reinstallation on a new truck should be a breeze.

Prowler Max Grille Guard

Product was excellent! Instructions could be more detailed. Hardware package contains too many extra parts and brackets which added a lot more time to the install. I finally went to my old Ford truck to see how the guard was installed and what a help that was. Had the new guard installed in less than an hour.
