Sequential turn signals are always head turners. First popularized by American luxury and sports cars, these distinctive lights are turning up on many aftermarket lighting accessories and with its wide expanse, the Lumen LED tailgate bar is the perfect medium to enjoy the full sequential effect. The turn signals light up in 3 steps - when you flip on the turn signals, the light bar section closest to the center of the truck illuminates, followed by the next section in line and finally the whole side of the bar lights up indicating the direction of the turn. When you turn on the hazard flasher, both sides of the bar light up beginning in the center and spreading outward in sequence, a display that’s sure to draw attention.

All this illumination is encased in a tough, lightweight, weatherproof aluminum housing, which after rigorous testing, received an IP67 ingress protection rating for resistance to intrusion by dust and water. The light bar comes with 3M double-sided foam adhesive strips, so you can affix the tape and tailor the installation to your particular truck. This adhesive is so strong it’s used by the OE manufacturers to install trim and other components on the assembly line. Once attached with 3M tape, your light bar will stay where it’s installed. The light bar’s 4-pin flat trailer connector comes ready to connect to your truck’s trailer wiring harness, however if your truck has a 7-pin round connector you’ll have to purchase a 7-pin to 4-pin adapter, sold separately. A pigtail is included if you want to hardwire the tailgate light bar to your truck. To activate the reverse lights, you’ll have to tap into the reverse light harness.
