Lumen® - LED Conversion Kit (9145)

Great bulbs! Very bright! Have had these installed for about a year now with no issues. Sometimes cars flash at me when they drive past at night. They fit into my trucks fog lights perfectly. CARiD said my truck took a different bulb size, but the 9145 was the original bulbs. So don't trust the computer, just order the original size. Also discovered that I needed ballasts with the bulbs, even though website said it didn't. Ram trucks will need the ballasts too.

I just purchased a set of Lumen LED Fog Light Conversion Kit (rated at 2500lm per LED Bulb) for my 2017 F-150 since a competitor's LED Fog Light I purchased from went out and their 2-year warranty was up :(. The competitor's LED's were considerably more $$$ to purchase, but they were rated 3600lm intensity per LED Bulb. So I was hesitating since I didn't want to have one Fog Light brighter than the other. So I decided to go with Lumen as their LED's and if the lights were obviously different in lm output. I would just put both new Lumen LED's in and use the other for a spare. After installing the Lumen LED I backed up and looked at the Fog Lights and to my surprise, there was no difference in brightness! I live in Idaho Falls up in the hills with a lot of deer and No street lights at all... so having not good, but Great LED Lights is imperative for me. So I saved a fair amount of money and got a 5-year warranty to boot! So yes, I'm happy. Too bad I couldn't upload a photo to show you guys.

I'm still debating which LED I should buy for my F150, but I would like to add what confuses me is all companies selling these LEDs really talk about their longevity... but so far that hasn't been the case. My wife's 2003 Acura TL with HID lights are still working (you can do the math). Now I will say the LED's output performance is impressive, but for the money, I would think companies would offer more than a 2 or 5-year warranty? It should be a minimum of 8 years if they truly believe in the life of the LEDs, but that's just me.

Lights arrived as stated, nicely packaged, but these lights were not any brighter than the stock fog lamps on the truck. Do not recommend for a 2003 F 150.

I purchased a set of the G8 LED fog lights as well as the low beam G8 LED conversion kit in Dec 2018 for my 2015 Ram 1500, as I was having difficulty seeing at night, especially when it was raining. First off, the packaging was very impressive. The lights were packed in a sturdy box with foam cutouts cradling each bulb. Very professional looking, which is expected for the money they cost. The bulbs seem pretty solid, with a little cooling fan in the back. I installed the fog lights immediately, which took maybe 10 mins. The fit for the fogs was a bit loose in my Ram. I was worried they might pop loose, but after nearly 6 Mos, theyre holding steady. The fog lights are much brighter than my old OEM halogens, but I wished they would've shined out farther. One thing they excel at though is lighting up the sides of the road. I had to drive on country roads late at night through Iowa and they really helped spot the deer trying to come out of the ditches. This summer I may see if I can tweek the adjustments a bit. What I'm really impressed with are the headlight bulbs though. (For whatever reason, the site doesn't recognize my order number now so I can't leave a separate review for them, so will squeeze it in here.) I put these in about 3 months ago, after the weather was warm enough. I simply can't believe what a difference these headlights made! I was running the NAPA Nightvision Brilliant halogens before, which were supposed to be the brightest, but I think those are only 1100 lumens and around 3700 color temp, whereas the G8s are 6,000 lumens with a color temp of 6500. You can definitely tell! What I want to warn others about though is that you may need to adjust the beam. The bulbs fit perfectly in the housing, but when I drove around a dark cul-de-sac, they were shining up in the trees, peoples houses, etc. In my Ram, there are holes for a screwdriver. You can easily adjust the beam up, down, or sideways. I have them perfectly aligned now, so they light up the road brilliantly and don't shine in other drivers back windows when youre behind them and I don't get flashed when meeting oncoming traffic. I am just crossing my fingers that these bulbs last as long as the company claims. I've seen some negative posts about them not standing behind their warranty, so hope I never have to file a claim. I would definitely recommend these bulbs though to anyone looking to upgrade from their halogens. They pierce through the darkness and I actually look for excuses to drive at night now! :)

These led fog lights are excellent, I would highly recommend them to improve night vision, very easily installed and they look terrific.

Nice flat pattern for fog lights. Not as bad of glare for oncoming traffic.

Super easy install. Matches the led headlights perfectly. Fan is unnoticeable when engine is running.

Ez to install, 10 min. Very bright makes my 2004 Jeep Liberty. Look good and safe to drive, thanks for being there.
