With the ever growing horsepower numbers the 3.5 Ecoboost engines make they knew they would have to start upgrading the engines internals. They first had their engineers at Livernois Motorsports design the Powerstorm pistons and came up with part number LPP720110. They then had the engineers of Livernois Motorsports design the 3.5 liter Ecoboost connecting rods. What they came up with is this fantastic Powerstorm I-beam rod forged from 4340 aircraft quality vacuum degassed material. Designed for low weight and high strength featuring ARP 2000 cap screws. They are all shot peened after machining and 100% magnafluxed so you can be sure your Powerstorm 3.5 Ecoboost rods are the best available and can handle up to 150 horsepower per cylinder or a total of 900 horsepower!
