What is covered - K-Metal products are protected by a 1-year warranty on replacement headlights, side mirrors, plastic and steel bumper covers, fenders, hoods, grilles and other automotive and truck replacement parts. K-Metal warrants its parts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed. The warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use.

What is not covered - Because this warranty extends to defects in materials and workmanship, it does not apply to normal worn parts, damage resulting from road hazards, debris, gravel, adjustments or damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, lack of maintenance, abnormal operation, accident, conditions that cause failure to the vehicle’s warning devices, removal or alteration of the parts. Warranty does not include costs associated with part removal, installation, inconvenience or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to fleet or commercial vehicles.

All incidental or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Aftermarket Splash Shield

K-Metal® 5735144 - Front Driver Side Fender Liner

It fits well and does have the sound suppression strip. It has most of the holes. There is a small amount of trimming at the fender for an air vent but at least it is indicated where to trim it. I did have to make a hole after trimming. It is secure and seems as if it will stay in place. It is about 10 to 15 percent thinner then the OEM but it is about 1/2 the price. Over all it gets a very good rating and it looks as if it will keep the water out of the engine compartment.
