Warranty

What is covered - K-Metal products are protected by a 1-year warranty on replacement headlights, side mirrors, plastic and steel bumper covers, fenders, hoods, grilles and other automotive and truck replacement parts. K-Metal warrants its parts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed. The warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use.

What is not covered - Because this warranty extends to defects in materials and workmanship, it does not apply to normal worn parts, damage resulting from road hazards, debris, gravel, adjustments or damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, lack of maintenance, abnormal operation, accident, conditions that cause failure to the vehicle’s warning devices, removal or alteration of the parts. Warranty does not include costs associated with part removal, installation, inconvenience or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to fleet or commercial vehicles.

All incidental or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

First Impressions

K-Metal® - Front Engine Splash Shield

I received the lower cover this afternoon. My first impression was that the box it was shipped in was not as wide or as tall as the cover. Open opening, the front edge of the cover was stressed from the box flaps. The cover was also bent on one side in order to get it inside the box. If the cover was as flat as it should be prior to being packed/shipped it is no longer flat. Please make sure on any future shipments that items such as this are shipped in appropriately sized boxes so as not to deform the item. The quality of the cover itself appears very good and the appearance is pleasing. The item matches the image in the listing and will be a nice new replacement to my car's currently severely damaged one. I will write a follow up review once installed.

Front Splash Cover

K-Metal® - Front Center Engine Splash Shield

This is the right fit for a 2008 chevy Silverado. Even lifted 6 in. These parts tend to break when they get hit while 4 wheeling. This is a good replacement part.

Saved Time And Money

K-Metal® 6303144 - Front Engine Splash Shield

CARiD's splash shield was a lot less expensive than taking my car to a repair shop and, considering all the time it takes to drive to the shop, get an estimate, wait for them to order the part, take the car back for repairs and arranging for someone else to drive me home and then drive me back to the shop to pick up the car, I saved time, energy and a lot of personal resources. I just drove my car up on the ramps I use for changing oil, screwed all the bolts back on and, voila, it was finished. Thanks CARiD!
