The 5W-40 is for automobiles with factory recommended viscosity of 5W-40. It is a high-performance engine oil used in gasoline and diesel engines that meets the American Petroleum Institute (API) standard SN/CF. ENEOS 5W-40 meets the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) C3, so it is especially suitable for European cars. ENEOS 5W-40 also meets the API CF standard. It is an excellent high performance oil for small passenger diesel engines.
