Each hook comes with a backing plate for mounting the installation bolt to, and a rubber gasket surrounds the perimeter of the hook to ensure no permanent marks are left. Drilling is unnecessary unless you prefer to install the Tie Downs in a unique area on your vehicle. Reinforced aluminum construction ensures industrial strength and resistance to bending, and a durable black powder coat finish ensures the hooks remain looking good for the lifetime of the vehicle.
