Steel 90 Degree Oval Pipe Section (OSR3090) by Boyce Industries®. All Boyce oval exhaust products are produced in house. A modern custom design tube rolling mill and aerospace bending machines supported by an in house tooling department allows us to totally control product development and production. Advanced bending technology has opened a new frontier of possibilities for the product designer and structural fabricator. With the wide range of materials that can be cold formed, many applications that require complex fixtures and extensive secondary operation work can be replaced by formed sections. BOYCE INDUSTRIES has developed many cost effective techniques that have allowed our customers to introduce many structural shapes, including round, square and rectangular tube and bar, into their products to replace weldments and fabricated shapes. In many cases the formed part will allow all design to be done on paper, and the resulting part will require no fixtures or additional work by prime assemblers thereby freeing up both floor space and manpower.

Along with tube bending, BOYCE INDUSTRIES also has 3 specially designed tube end finishing machines with capacity to cold form thru expansion or reduction. Round tube up to 5½" O.D. or square and rectangular tube to 3" O.D. this process can be used to expand or reduce up to 2 times material thickness on as much as 4" in length on material as heavy as .134 wall. This equipment can be used to reduce to a matching slip fit or be used to provide transition from round to a shape. As this is a cold form process, it requires very conservative die costs and set-up charges.

In the mid 80's Boyce developed a complete oval exhaust system for competition use by NASCAR teams. This was followed by oval track muffler development and in 1994 the boom tube exhaust outlets. Since that time Boyce has consistently supplied racing teams with component parts and one-piece oval exhaust systems.
