Lifetime limited warranty

Black Widow mufflers, X-pipes and Y-pipes are covered under a lifetime limited warranty against material and workmanship defects for the original purchaser and for the original vehicle on which the product was installed. Uncontrollable circumstances due to collision, weather, undercarriage road impact or debris, lack of maintenance or extreme heat or cold can damage or disfigure the product appearance and are not covered by Black Widow under this warranty. Improperly installed, altered, misused, repaired and willful or negligent acts are also not covered under this warranty. Please do not return your muffler if you do not like the sound or sound level because Black Widow does not provide warranty for sound. Its performance mufflers are created to allow for maximum airflow, which can result in higher sound levels than stock mufflers and mufflers not designed for performance. Black Widow’s only obligation shall be limited to the replacement at Black Widow’s sole discretion and only if the product returned displays a material or workmanship defect. No expressed or implied warranties for resale or modification for a particular purpose are hereby made are excepted as otherwise expressly provided herein.

Proper installation

Black Widow mufflers are universal, therefore they may require additional materials for proper installation. Each muffler should have at least one hanger welded to the body of the muffler that securely attaches to the undercarriage of your vehicle (see installation card included with each unit for details). Not using a hanger attached to the body of the muffler will void your warranty. Punctures to the exterior of the muffler due to improper welding will void this warranty as well. Improper installation can cause damage to yourself and to others – and even death. Because of this, Black Widow highly recommends installation by a professional facility such as a muffler shop.

Additional warranty specifics

Any modifications to the product or its intended use or damage by accident, misuse, abuse or misapplication voids this warranty. No person or representative is authorized to extend or alter warranties on behalf of Black Widow other than the warranty expressed herein. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:
