Installation of a 2D Premium Dash Trim kit from B&I transforms your plain old vehicle interior and makes it exciting and elegant. Choose trim in real or synthetic wood, real or imitated carbon fiber, metal or solid colors, to cover the areas that the manufacturer of your vehicle left bare. The B&I 2D dash kits feature a 3M adhesive backing that does not require messy primer. The adhesive does not stick permanently until it has cured, which allows you to reposition components that have not been placed with the precision you desire, without creating a mess. The real wood components are made with seamless wood. Edges are laser blackened to give a smooth visual transition to the original panels behind the trim.

Warranty

B&I products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, during which its products are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship. The Lifetime warranty is extended to the original end-user, and is not transferrable to subsequent owners, unless specifically stated otherwise.

The Warranty applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the warranty period, B&I will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. B&I reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this Warranty.

Not Worth it in the Long Run

B&I® WD1173A-SNB - 2D Natural Birdseye Large Dash Kit (41 Pcs)

Well, overall the product looks of quality when it’s installed. My only complaint is that several pieces did not fit (small gaps around the dash area, back pieces behind the door handles were too big, and two small pieces were completely left out of the kit). When I emailed your company about these issues, I received a laundry list of items they needed from me to move forward. Pictures, proof of purchase, part numbers, etc., etc., etc. That part of this process (purchase) made the overall experience a very poor one for me. Even after my original email to you about the missing parts and the parts that did not fit were by part number and description. Thought these 5 pieces would be shipped out to me to correct this problem but obviously they weren’t. For that reason, I will not make any future purchases of your product. I think if the pieces that were missing and cut wrong would have been shipped out without the hassle, this experience would have ended on a much more pleasant note.

Transformation Is What You Will Get

If your looking to take a dull, ordinary dash and change it to something special with bling or panache this is your kit. Laser cut to fit exactly over the original dash panels and with 3M adhesive. However, my kit for a 2018 Buick was not made for the new model year which was completely redesigned. Heartbreaking, after custom ordering the real American Rosewood which took 2 months to make, I was disappointed in B&I not doing their due diligence in redesigning the kit. Sadly, I had to return it. Installation: Kit did not come with the instructions which must be downloaded or alcohol cleaning pads. You can purchase a cheap bottle of rubbing alcohol from a local drug store. Also, use lots of clean 100% cotton rags to prevent contamination and guarantee it will stick for years as prep is crucial. The quality of real wood cannot be understated. It looked amazing in the box and probably would of made the car look like a vehicle worth $15K more over an all-black dash!
