Air Filter by Attack Blue®. An important consideration when choosing your air filter is "how well does it really capture dirt". While allowing air to feed your engine, the air filter needs to protect your engine from harmful particulate and premature wear. Studies have shown external contamination of lube oil is a major cause of accelerated wear. Particles similar in size to the oil film clearance(Less than 1 micron) do the most damage. With aftermarket filters only capturing particles as small as 5 microns, this could be a problem. It's a fact that Nanofiber technology is key to the absolute best filtration with the least amount of restriction for the greatest volume of air. It truly is the best of both world. Attack Blue's Nano media efficiently traps particles down to sub-micron levels. Nanofibers are ultra-fine. Since the fibers are so much thinner than traditional spun fibers, you can pack more fibers in the same amount of space which creates more obstacles to stop particulate from passing through without sacrificing air flow.
