At first, the Aston Martin DBS was introduced to customers in far 1967. It was designed as a grand tourer two-door coupe with a powerful engine (4.0L DOHC). There were two options of transmission available: either a five-speed manual or a Borg-Warner automatic one. This stylish and impressive vehicle was featured in the 1969 “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” movie – the DBS turned out to be a perfect companion for James Bond. In 1972, production of the model was ceased, but later, in 2007, a new version of the Aston Martin DBS appeared on the stage. It was offered as a two-door coupe or a convertible. The engine became even more powerful – 5.9L V12. An automatic transmission option was represented by a Touchtronic 2 six-speed gearbox. For the manual option, customers could choose a Graziano six-speed transmission.
