Alan Grove® - Alternator Bracket

Alternator Bracket (223L) by Alan Grove®. Alternator Location: Driver Side. Belt Size: 56" - 57". Low Profile. Side: Driver. Belt Length: 56" - 57". Steel, Natural Finish. Alan Grove Components use a belt length of 56" - 57" with this mount on installations in shop. However, this can vary with the diameter of your pulleys. Exhaust Spacers - with HEADERS - use the 2-1/4" long x 5/8" O.D. Spacers. With Rams horn Manifolds use the 1/4" long x 3/4" O.D. Spacer at rear hole of bracket and a 1-1/16" long x 3/4" O.D. spacer at front hole of bracket. With the later DROPTYPE MANIFOLDS use the 1-1/16" long x 3/4" O.D. Spacers at both bracket holes. The alternator belt will run in the second grooves from the front of the crank and water pump pulleys originally used for the factory compressor. It was designed to be used with Alan Grove Components 123R Passenger Side Compressor Mount. It can be used with single groove crank and water pump pulleys by using a double groove alternator pulley and running the belt in the outer groove. These brackets bolt to the water pump and exhaust. NO HOLES NEEDED in head. Furnished with hardware to fit stock exhaust manifolds and most headers. If used with headers the front tube must turn down enough to allow access to the bolt hole in front of the second pipe as shown in the side view. As with any mount system, assemble all of the brackets to engine Before tightening the bolts. As with any part of this nature, make sure it fits your application before painting or plating. Parts that have been painted, plated, or modified may not be returned.
