Introduced in 1992, the Acura Vigor was a premium sedan available as a 4-door B-pillar hardtop. Actually, it was the U.S. version of the third-generation Honda Vigor, available on the market from 1981. The 1992 Acura model was however an all-new car, built on a new chassis and featuring a unique and performing 5-cylinder engine. The Acura Vigor was a well-designed car, elegantly sketched and coming with Acura’s usual beautiful and upscale interior. In 1994, the Vigor underwent a facelift, mainly improving the overall driving handling and making the rear part roomier. Despite being a good sedan under every respect, the Vigor didn’t manage to become a top-seller, so the model was eventually discontinued in 1995.
