The Acura NSX was a 2-seat, 2-door coupe which debuted in 1990, marking the entrance of the Japanese brand in the luxury coupe segment. The NSX was an innovative sports car, introducing several features borrowed from the F1 racing, at that time dominated by Honda. The Acura NSX gained a body shape sketched adopting some lines from the military aircraft construction. Body panels, suspension and engine parts were built of aluminum, ensuring a light structure, while a 3.0L V6 petrol engine provided superior performance. The production of the Acura NSX was dropped in 2005, but the second-generation NSX has recently debuted at the November 2015 North American International Auto Show.
