The proprietary formulas are used on every line of clutch for tractors, heavy duty trucks, performance street cars, all the way to 9000 HP top fuel dragsters. Along with superior friction materials, Ace’s discs are also made with patented cryogenically processed springs that ensure durability and longevity.

Established more than half of a century ago as a division of Cottrill-Wideman in St. Louis, Ace Racing® was America's biggest heavy-duty clutch rebuilder. At that time, the company was known as Ace Grinding and was focused on grinding clutch pressure plates only. In 1966, after buying Sauter Machine Company, it has widened its range of products. Next year, Ace Grinding was acquired by Carl Ijames and associates, and in 1982 Carl and family became the sole owners of the company. In 1992, the first racing clutch disc for street and drag racing cars saw the world and since that time Ace Racing has constantly expanded its line with quality products for both racing and heavy-duty applications.
